Ramcharan’s MAERUPU at Marina Beach, Chennai

Ramcharan’s fourth movie Maerupu is currently shooting at Marina Beach in Chennai.
Director Dharani is filming few key scenes and a song on Ramcharan.
Dharani was talking about Maerupu titles and said “No one can touch the merupu (Thunder) but thunder can touch every one“.
Ramcharan is playing a maerupu(thunder) role in this action packed thriller.
N.V.Prasad and R.B.Choudary are producing this movie in which Kajal is acting as heroine and Devisree Prasad is composing music.

Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh play brothers in multistarrer

Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh will be acting in a multistarrer titled as Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu which will be directed by Srikanth Addala and will be produced by ‘Dil” Raju.
Both heroes will be playing as brothers in this movie.
This movie is planned to go on floors in 2011 summer.
Movie’s budget is estimated to be around Rs.50 crores.

Ahmed Khan’s excellent choreography in Komaram Puli

Bollywood choreographer Ahmed Khan who earlier worked for Pawan Kalyan’s JALSA movie’s Jennifer Lopez, has choreographed 2 songs for Komaram Puli.
Pawan’s introduction song and Shriya’s sizzling item number were done by him and after seeing the output, producer felt they looked different and trendy than any other earlier songs in telugu movies.

Pawan Kalyan’s secret investment for YVS Chowdary’s movie

Director Y V S Chowdary came up with superhit movie ‘Devadasu’ and then a miserable flop in the form of ‘Okka Magadu’ and followed it with another disaster ‘Saleem’. Right now, he is working on a new project which will introduce the darling nephew of the Konidela family, Dharma Teja. YVS is producing and directing it in his home banner ‘Bommarillu’.
Though ‘Okka Magadu’ flopped miserably, YVS made a profit of more than Rs 5- Rs 6 crores. Similarly, though ‘Saleem’ failed to get the appreciation from the audience, YVS managed to deposit nearly Rs 2.5 crores in his bank account as part of his remuneration. It is also known that during that time, YVS created an issue that Mohan Babu had committed Rs 3 crores but gave only Rs 2.5 crores and the rest was an invalid cheque. That is why, when the announcement of the Konidela family nephew project has been made and that too under YVS’s production, though it came as a surprise. But, it is now being said that for the film which introduces the son of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan’s sister, the producer is not Y V S Chowdary.
As per reliable sources, it is heard that the entire investment for the film is being made by Pawan Kalyan. With a budget of Rs 12 crores, Pawan has reportedly entered into an agreement with YVS that the latter must come up with the first copy. This agreement is said to have taken place with Chiranjeevi as the witness. Taking such a big risk for his nephew, Pawan Kalyan sure needs to be appreciated.

Ileana not confirmed with Pawan Kalyan

For Hindi hit movie Love Aaj Kal’s telugu remake with Pawan Kalyan under the direction of Jayant C Paranji, produced by Ganesh Babu (with the blessings of Bothsa Satyanarayana), the name of Ileana is being considered as the leading lady. But now, Ileana may not be the chosen one.
While one reason is said to be Botsa’s special fascination for Anushka, the other reason is said to be the strict policy of Pawan Kalyan from the start of his career. Till date, Pawan has never worked with the same heroine for the second time, the only person to do that was Renu Desai. She paired up with him in ‘Badri’ and then ‘Johnny’. Except Renu, no other heroine got that golden chance. Many thought that Ileana might have got the chance but at the last moment, it is heard that things changed. There is also another reason for Ileana missing the golden chance. Sources say that Ileana giving a green signal to do one item song for a Kannada film just for few extra bucks has also gone against her.
The Kannada film has Sada as the heroine and this is also another reason that the search is on for another heroine.
Will Botsa get his favourite Anushka in or will Jayant manage to convince producer to rope in Deepika Padukone or will it be another girl like Samantha (who is also in consideration) ?
Movie is planned to go for regular shooting from July end.

Shriya charges 22 lakhs for Komaram Puli item song

Shriya is trying her best to bounce back into telugu movies where she started her career 9 years back.
Currently she’s doing one telugu movie and one tamil movie.
She did an item song with Pawan Kalyan for Komaram Puli and she said that its A.R.Rahman’s music that tempted her to dance for this song.
She charged Rs.22 lakhs for this hot number which was shot on a lavish set erected in hyderabad.
Neeta Lulla from mumbai designed her costumes for this song.
She hopes that this song would be the highlight of the movie and will bring back her lost glory in tollywood.

Pawan Kalyan’s guest role in Jesus Christ movie

Veteran director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is making a movie on Jesus Christ in 4 languages, English, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan will be playing a special guest role in this movie.
This news was confirmed by the movie’s producer Konda Krishnamraju.
This movie will go on floors from June 30th 2010 in mumbai.
Pawan Kalyan will then continue on with Love Aaj Kal remake with Jayant from July.

Pawan Kalyan’s cameo in Jesus film

Konda Krishnam Raju (Sri Ramadasu fame) is planning a film on the life of Jesus Christ. This film will be made in four languages (Hindi, English, Telugu and Malayalam). Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is going to direct this film. This film will be launched in Mumbai on 30 June. All the roles in thismovie are going to be performed by kids of 12 – 14 years old. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan visited international brand, Harley Davidson bike launch in hyderabad on saturday.
Pawan used this bike in few of his movies earlier like Badri etc.
He looked relaxed after completing Komaram Puli Shooting.
And movie is done with most of post-production work.
This movie team is waiting for music director A.R.Rahman to finish composing background music.
Audio will be released in 3rd week of june and movie will release in July.

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu with Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh

‘Dil’ Raju has earlier announced that he will be making a multistarrer with Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh on his banner.
This combination was planned by both heroes in 2004 itself but they couldn’t find a suitable script then.
Now Srikanth Addala ( Kottha Bangarulokam fame ) has prepared a script suited for both these heroes.
This movie is planned to go for muhurtham in september 2010 and regular shooting will start soon after that.
They are planning to shoot few scenes involving Venkatesh and other artists till Pawan becomes free from Love Aaj Kal remake.

Megastar Chiranjeevi saw VEDAM movie preview two days back.
Vedam starred Allu Arjun, Anushka, Manchu Manoj and Manoj Bajpai acted in lead roles.
He appreciated the team for making a genuine attempt which had good message and without commercial treatment.
